I've finally decided to make a LiveJournal account, partly to keep in contact with a couple of friends I'd lost touch with, partly to keep track of my weekly exercise progress, and partly so I can spout off, vent, and talk shit (which isn't quite a professional thing to do when associated with a business' blog!).

As for who I am, it's inevitable that learning this is better served in person than summarized in some block of text. Still, I'll try:

I was born in New York, but raised in Georgia. I don't really have a southern accent, but my northern accent comes out when I'm annoyed or excited. I'm German-American with a dash of English, Scotch-Irish, and Cherokee.

I'm not particularly well traveled. I've never been further north than Kingston, New York; further south than Tampa, Florida; further west than Tucsan, Arizona; further northwest than Kansas City, Kansas; further east than Lauenburg, Germany. Japan is a goal I have not reached.

Two favourite English speaking artists are Dream Theater and Queen. Two favourite Japanese artists are Suga Shikao and Do As Infinity (Tomiko Van).

My favourite anime are Twelve Kingdoms and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and I think RahXephon is a better show than Neon Genesis Evangelion. A few friends and I have been talking about cosplay for a couple years now. Finally working on a costume.

I'm a game designer, a professional miniature painter, and I'm on various forums as E-Arkham or EArkham. Since I get asked this a lot, EArkham is pronounced with the E seperate ("Eee-ark-ham").

But nevermind all that pseudonym rubbish! Call me Kep. That's what folks call me in person.

I'll try to be at least modestly entertaining with my entries, but no promises.
